Do we really need yet another mine in Rensselaer County?

It was quite a turnout at the Nassau Town Board meeting Jan. 27 to discuss the proposed mining and excavation moratorium. Upward of 125 people came out to speak about the proposed Troy Sand and Gravel Mining project bordering routes 66 and 43.
