Vic: Child killed in two-car crash, seven injured

A 15-year-old boy is dead .. and seven people are injured .. after an allegedly speeding
car collided with a taxi in Melbourne's east.

Police alleged that cars were involved in drag racing immediately before the crash
in Wheelers Hill.

After four people were freed from the mangled cars .. seven people were transported
to various hospitals around Melbourne.





The fatality brings Victoria's road toll to 33 .. three more than at this time last year.
