Fed: Gov't outlines 130 ways to improve aviation sector=2

Transport Minister Anthony Albanese, releasing the paper in Canberra, said Australia's
growing population was putting pressure on the aviation industry.

"It is time to do more than have an ad hoc approach to aviation issues as they arise,"

Mr Albanese told reporters.

"Australia needs a comprehensive aviation framework that brings together all aspects
of aviation policy into a single, coherent and forward looking statement."
