Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group, Inc. Broadens Equity Research Platform with the Promotion of Two Senior Analysts.

Rodman & Renshaw, LLC, a subsidiary of Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: RODM), today highlights the broadening of the firm's equity research group with the recent promotion of Yigal Nochomovitz, Ph.D. and Chad Mabry (see also Biotechnology).

Recent promotions in Rodman & Renshaw's Equity Research Department: Yigal Nochomovitz, Ph.D. was recently promoted to Senior Vice President and Senior Biotechnology Analyst. Prior to joining Rodman in November 2008, Dr. Nochomovitz was an associate biotechnology analyst at Susquehanna International Group where he followed a range of publicly traded biotechnology companies. Before joining Wall Street, he was a post-doctoral associate at the Center for Physics & Biology at Rockefeller University. Dr. Nochomovitz earned a doctorate in Biophysics at the University of California San Francisco, where he investigated gene signaling networks using computational approaches. His research has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and the Journal of Chemical Physics. Dr. Nochomovitz received an Sc.B. degree in biochemistry with honors from Brown University, where he was awarded the Leallyn B. Clapp Prize for best undergraduate thesis in chemistry.

Chad Mabry was recently promoted to Senior Vice President and Senior Oil and Gas Analyst. Prior to joining Rodman in July 2008, Mr. Mabry was an associate analyst at Pritchard Capital Partners where he followed both large- and small-cap exploration and production companies. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Houston and has over 8 years experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Mabry earned a BA in Philosophy and a MA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
