Fed: Bishop says no time limit for Nelson leadership

BRENDAN NELSON's deputy says there's no deadline for the federal Opposition leader
to prove his worth .. despite his dismal ratings in the opinion polls.

JULIA BISHOP's told the Nine Network today .. BRENDAN'S getting on with what's a very
difficult job .. and the opposition's focus is on next month's budget.

Asked about her own ambitions .. she said she's absolutely committed to the deputy's
position she was elected to five months ago.

Asked about Dr NELSON's future .. she said she wasn't going to crystal ball gaze.
